Week 1

Introductions  (Jan 14 - 20, 2013)

During the first week of the course, participants will:

• sign up and try tools for synchronous and/or asynchronous communication to be used during the session
• exchange introductions 
• add themselves to a group map 
• answer a survey to determine their previous experience with web 2.0 tools and podcasting
• record expectations to the course on a web-based recorder
• search for podcast websites and create a pool of useful podcasts for the ELT classroom (ESL-EFL and "authentic" podcasts).
